Borders
The zipped file contains 2 sizes each in six common formats: PES, HUS, JEF, PCS, EXP, XXX and DST. Most machines and software will accept one or other of these formats. If you require a different format please check, it may be possible. This is a downloadable product.
The Simple Borders collection ranges in size between .5 to just over 1 centimetre in width. All 14 count basic designs fit into the 100mm square hoop, as do all 11 count designs; however, they are designed to be able to create continuous lengths so can be as long as you please!
These crossstitch designs have been carefully digitized to take advantage of your machine’s jumpstitch cutter, should it have one. This reduces the annoying jump stitches while keeping a continuity of stitching in each colour with minimum thread changes, particularly in the combined designs of 4×4 or 5×7.
Each design is a fully filled block of crossstitches, which makes for easy matching, however, depending on the design, it is easy to omit the background and just sew the main design as a surface embellishment. They are perfect for filling in gaps, creating edges or frames. Combine them for interesting cuffs, collars, use them for smocking designs, top stitch seams ….
